Edit volume capacities

A storage volume is an identifiable unit of data storage. Storage groups are sets of volumes.

Steps

  1. Select the storage system.
  2. Select Storage > Volumes and click Create.
  3. Click An icon showing a pencil symbol to open the Edit Volume Capacities dialog.
  4. Use the drop-down menus to choose the number of volumes, the capacity, and the unit to be used to measure capacity (TB, GB, MB, or cylinders). Click An icon showing a plus symbol to add another volume size.
  5. Click Apply to apply your changes or Cancel to reject them.
